DJ Moran Kariv, born in 1976 in Israel, got acquainted with music at an early age. His mom was a singer in a leading band and his father, a well known composer/producer, worked, as he still does today, with famous singers and bands. This musical atmosphere contributed enormously to Moran's musical identity, introducing him to the huge variety of musical styles and genres since childbirth. Only 13 years of age, Moran started his DJ career by spinning vinyls and playing tapes using "borrowed" equipment from his father. Gradually he became more and more professional, collecting loads of great music and expanding his knowledge in music and along with people reacting to it. As he became more famous, DJ Moran did not stop at DJing and would "invade" his father's studios at night to start creating his own tunes and music, successfully trying it out time after time on the dance floor. In 1997, after a long solo DJ/producer career, Moran was signed at the leading DJ's company - "Musica Plus", playing among the top DJ's in his country. Under the "Musica Plus" label, Moran worked as a DJ in every major club in Israel, and also played in San Francisco, Germany, Spain, Turkey, and France. Working with the best event producers in Israel, Moran was responsible for the music at many unique and glamorous events which hosted celebes, actors, and government members. During his development into one of the leading DJ's in his country, he continued making music - especially for the dance floor. One of his peak moments was in 2003, when he opened the main stage party at the Love parade, playing one of his tracks in front of 250,000 people. This track was also the love parade's anthem for this year. As a producer and remixer, he worked with all the major record companies in Israel and released many hits to the radio stations and to the dance floors. In the year 1999, famous DJ Eran Barnea was also signed at "Musica Plus" and Moran discovered their common taste in music. They got together and years later became famous as the leading duo "Houston Project".   מורן קריב, נולד ב6791 וגדל לתוך המוסיקה כבר מיום היוולדו. אמו היתה זמרת בלהקת חיל האוויר ואביו הוא מוסיקאי מפורסם שעבד ועובד גם היום עם האמנים הגדולים בתעשיית המוסיקה בישראל. האווירה המוסיקלית בבית תרמה רבות לזהות המוסיקלית שמורן רכש במהלך השנים והוא למד להכיר מגוון סגנונות עצום ורחב כבר מגיל הילדות. כבר בגיל 31, מורן החל את קריירת התיקלוט שלו בעודו מסובב תקליטים וטייפ קאסט בציוד אשר אותו "שאל" מאביו. לאט ובהדרגה הוא נהיה יותר ויותר מקצועי, הרחיב את האוסף והידע המוסיקלי שלו וחידד את יכולתו לקרוא את הקהל. בעוד תחום הדיג'יי תופס תאוצה, מורן לא הסתפק רק בתיקלוט ו"פלש" לאולפן המוסיקה של אביו, שם החל ליצור מוסיקה בעצמו ולבדוק אותה לאחר מכן על רחבות הריקודים. בשנת 7991, אחרי תקופה ארוכה שבה עבד באופן עצמאי, הוחתם מורן בחברת "מוסיקה פלוס" (כיום ד'פלוס) שם תיקלט לצד הדיג'איים המובילים בארץ. בזמן זה ועד היום, מורן אייש את עמדותיהם של כל המועדונים הגדולים בישראל, ותיקלט גם בסן פרנסיסקו, גרמניה, ספרד, טורקיה וצרפת. במסגרת עבודתו עם מפיקי האירועים המובילים בארץ, מורן היה אחראי על המוסיקה באירועים נוצצים ומיוחדים, לסלבס, לשחקנים ואפילו לחברי כנסת ושרים. בהמשך להתפתחותו המרשימה בתחום התיקלוט, מורן קצר הצלחה רבה גם בתחום ההפקה המוסיקלית, במיוחד בתחום הדאנס והמוסיקה האלקטרונית. אחד מציוני הדרך החשובים התרחש בשנת 3002, כאשר מורן פתח את הסט שלו ברחבה המרכזית של מצעד האהבה אל מול 000,052 איש עם קטע מקורי שלו, שבמקרה גם היווה את המנון המצעד לאותה שנה. בתור יוצר מוסיקאלי ומפיק, מורן עבד ועובד עם כל חברות התקליטים הגדולות בארץ ועם אמנים כמו מאיה בוסקילה, קרן פלס, דנה לפידות, סי היימן, גידי גוב, רמי קליינשטיין, עילי בוטנר ורן דנקר. במסגרת עבודתו עם אמנים אלו שיחרר להיטים רבים לרחבות הריקודים ומצעדי הרדיו השונים, והוא ממשיך להביא את גרסאותיו המיוחדות אל עולם החתונות והמועדונים. בשלהי שנת 7002 הקים מורן יחד עם ערן ברנע את ההרכב המצליח "יוסטון פרוג'קט".
